Recently I have been busy harvesting a bunch of things from the garden, which include yellow wax bean, green beans, apples, crab apples, kale, collards, tomatoes and banana peppers. Needless to say I have been very busy lately canning and preserving our gardens bounty. So, if I am not online sharing as much over the next few weeks it is because of all the canning we are doing. My plan is to pressure can the greens and beans then make cider out of some of the crab and regular apples along with apple sauce. The peppers will get pickled and the tomatoes will eventually become pasta sauce. Later I will share pictures and information on these creations if there is an interest.
