After the amazing amount of rain that we have been getting the garden has been growing by leaps and bounds. Of course we lost a few pepper plants because of the tremendous winds, which is sad. Yet in all reality we are very lucky that it was not worse due to the fact that it was definitely tornado weather over the last week. Now we just have to keep an eye out for root rot and try to keep up with caging the tomatoes. All the purslane has been picked from the upper garden and that is our project for the rest of the weekend. We will be giving an update on what we decided to do with the purslane later.
Happy gardening!
