Without you I am still all that I was before
Without you I am still a mother
Without you I am still someone’s lover
Without you I am still an artist
Without you I am still a gardener
Without you I am still a baker, cook and canner
Without you I am still an environmentalist
Without you I am still a survivalist
Without you I am still a writer and a thinker
Without you I still have friends and family
Without you I still have courage and strength
Without you I still have the ability to survive and thrive and heal
Without you I can still build a home and a family
Without you I am not empty in fact I am full
Without you I am still all the things that I have been and so much more including free
