Tonight I decided to spent some time by myself doing some self maintenance. First I started with a lovely pedicure that included a foot mask and moisturizing after a long soak in a warm foot spa. Then I decided to do a mud mask and pore cleansing treatment along with using pore cleansing strips on my face. Then my plan is to once my feet are done moisturizing is to paint my toenails a lovely shade of a glittery plum purple.
I have been so busy with my life and doing all the things that I do that I have forgotten to take care of myself in certain ways. As many of you may know I am doing a low-carb diet and it is going extremely well and I have lost a total of 23 pounds. Today while I was out I bought all the stuff that I needed to continue my diet and I must admit that I find myself to be extremely motivated about my weight loss. Recently I have also been going to the gym on a more regular basis, which has been helping me considerably with my stress and anxiety.
I would like to remind everyone out there to take some time for themselves to do some self maintenance whether it’s skin care, time at the gym, starting a weight-loss regimen, getting a massage or other healing therapy, getting a haircut or getting it colored, or just taking some time to yourself with a nice cup of healing tea. Self maintenance is self love and we need to consistently remind ourselves that we need to be cared for even if it’s just by ourselves.
