On last Monday and Tuesday when I had my son we did some Halloween decorating in the yard with pumpkins and tombstones on Monday. We also had a houseguest come on Monday and stay for a couple of days to visit. This person is a good friend of the family but is more like family. That night I made up a good dinner of beef and barley soup with vegetables and for dessert we had chocolate brownies.
Then on Tuesday we all went to a public park to enjoy the fall weather and so that Dereck could get to play with other children. He had a good time with all the other children there and also decide to play in the leaves making piles and jumping into them as well as rolling around in them and tossing them into the air. Later that night after dinner but before bed he decided he was going to read us a book.
It was wonderful to get to go out enjoy the fall weather on a crisp cool evening with family and friends. Dereck enjoyed having a visitor and he enjoyed getting to do special things with her like hang out and play and watch movies. Since she especially came to see him it was his special guest and he really enjoyed spending time with her. I was able to get some great pictures of him playing in the leaves and looking adorable as usual.
